Service Description
Join me for a relaxing morning painting in the scenic Waterfront cafe in Benson from 10am to 12 noon over a cuppa and a piece of cake. We can sit outside by the river if the weather is nice or inside the café if we prefer, there will be coffee, teas and cake to tempt you and you can stay for lunch after the session if you wish. Every Brush & Brew session covers a different subject with photos supplied for inspiration, there will be a demonstration focusing on an aspect of watercolour painting together with tips and techniques followed by a couple of hours for you to paint at your own pace with me on hand to offer advice and support. If you wish to bring your own painting project you are very welcome to do so but it must be in watercolour. The course is suitable for all abilities, please bring your watercolour kit (see below) and kindly note that refreshments are not provided in this course so please purchase your coffees & cakes from the café. Please note that you will need to bring your own watercolour kit which includes the following… - Brushes - Paints - Palette - Paper…300g cold pressed please purchase paper with the 'NOT' texture ( avoid hot pressed) - Pencils & eraser - Water pot Optional extras - Kitchen paper - Water spray - Apron - Masking tape - Masking fluid - Sketchbook

Cancellation Policy
PAYMENT Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated CANCELLATION POLICY FOR REGULAR WORKSHOPS No refunds are given for cancellations. Course transfers can be arranged for cancellations that are notified up to 4 weeks before the start date of the course No refunds can be made and no transfers will be offered to those who cancel, for whatever reason, within one calendar month of the start of their workshop No reductions or refunds are available to students arriving late or leaving their workshop early CANCELLATION POLICY FOR THE BEGINNERS FOUNDATION COURSE The deposit is non- refundable. The balance of the payment is due 6 weeks before the course start date, failure to pay the balance of the course will result in your place being forfeit with no refund of your deposit. Once the Beginners Foundation Course has been paid in full, no refunds will be given on cancellations of the full course or individual modules for whatever reason. However transfers of the full course or individual modules to other workshops can be made up to 6 weeks before the start date of the first module Any cancellations, for whatever reason, once the course has started are not refundable or transferable. Students can substitute their place on the course with an alternative named person at any time providing they ask for written permission from Denny. TRANSFERS WITH REGULAR WORKSHOPS You can transfer your place on a workshop to another person at any point before the course starts, or (with the exception of the Beginners Foundation Course) you can transfer to another course of your choice in the current calendar year, subject to availability, up to one calendar month before the start of the workshop for which you originally booked, at no extra charge (unless the new class has a higher cost in which case you will need to pay any difference). No workshop transfers will be accepted less than one month before the course start date and no refunds given CANCELLATION BY TUTOR In the rare event that Denny has to cancel a course, you will be offered a new date or course transfer. CLASS SIZE Denny reserves the right to cancel and rearrange the workshop should it fail to reach the minimum number of students to make it viable LIABILITY By booking a workshop, students agree that they enter the Ipsden village hall or Denny’s studio at their own risk and Denny will not be held liable for any accident or injury sustained on the premises
